Midweek Magnolias #39 Stars

Good morning friends and followers.

It's time for challenge #39 over at the Midweek Magnolias today. We are totally in Christmas mode these days, and our theme this week is

Starlight, star bright...
use a star on your card (and don't forget we're a Magnolia challenge!)

I made another bottle-tag for this challenge. This one is very much inspired by one of my favorite Magnolia- artists: Camilla S, she even has a quick tutorial on her blog.

I used papers from the lovely Maja Design "It's Christmas time" collection. These are the Christmas Boubles (back side) and "Tid for Fest" from the 6x6 pad.
I made my own template for the star tag. I used Martha Steward punch, spellbinder die, Magnolia doohickey's: Spruce (the trees), snowflake and the small flowers. I also used a La la land swirl die called Holly Flourish die.

On the tag I used WOC roses, white Mulberry Paper Poppies. The lace is the sand beige "Fleurs Des Jardins". The image is Angel Tilda, colored with distress ink pads and markers.

On the front I used a circle from the Maja Design Cut out Sheet. The two laces I used are the white Rhinestone Lace and the light antique Mauve "Antique Belle" all from the Live and Love Craft Store.

Hope you like it!

Pop over to the Midweek Magnolias to see the beautiful creations of the rest of the DT, and join in for a chance to win a fabulous surprise from Magnolia of Sweden!

Live & Love Craft Sunday Inspiration- Ballerina

Good morning friends and followers!

I have been MIA for the past week. Things have been crazy, so my apologies for not blogging a single card or finding the time to visit your blogs or commenting. I think things have calmed down a little now, so hopefully I will have the time for my favorite hobby, on- and offline:)

This week we are showcasing the gorgeous Maja Design Papers over at the Live & Love Craft Challenge and Inspiration blog. Stop by to see what the rest of the talented ladies of the DT have created for you this week!
Maja Design is one of my absolute favorite design papers, and the "Shall we have coffee" collection is no exception. Sandy sent me some of the papers in my DT package, and as soon as i put my eyes on them I had to order the rest of the collection! I simply love the colors and the patterns.

Here is my card for you:

I used Havrerutor (Oat Coocies)Karleksmums (Chocolate Coconut Squares ) and Kladdkaka (Sticky Chocolate Cake ) papers from the Maja Design.  I used Magnolia Doohickey's dies to cut out the hart from sheet music. I used a Martha Steward punch and the sentiment stamp is from Ett Trykk. I stamped around the edges of the image with a Stempelglede swirl and I distressed the edges with Tim Holtz distress ink- vintage photo.

The image is the Ballerina Tilda from Magnolia. I made the wooden floor and walls with my Copics. The wooden floor is inspired by the very talented Mindy (I once took an online class of hers and I learned so much about coloring with copics!).
Copics used:
Skin: E13-11-00-000
Hair: E30-31-70-71-74-77
Dress: E70-71-74-77
Floor: E30-31-33-35-37-47-49
Walls and shadow: C00-1-3-5

The embelisshements are the beautiful pearl center from Maya Road, it's called Vintage findings- Pearl Center, dark chocolate Vintage Pearl Pins, and the antique style G Clef charm. I used flowers from WOC and Kort og Godt.

The gorgeous ribbons are the oyster creme Rhinestone Lace, the Lace Antique Belle, and the Brown Organza Roses Trim. I also used the antique cream Shabby Seam Binding.
All I needed to decorate the inside was the gorgeous papers!

Hope you like it!

Live & Love Craft November Challenge

Hello friends!

Today is November 1st, witch means we have a new challenge for you over at the Live & Love Craft Challenge and Inspiration blog.
The winter is on it's way. Here in Norway the world is white with snow, and Christmas is clearly just around the corner! If you are a follower you have seen me make Christmas cards for a while...lol...
This time I made one in turquoise and white, with a little touch of red:

I used  the Victorian Angels papers from Fab Scraps.
I used one of the pretty Tea party doilies
The heart is a Magnolia doohickey, so are the snowflake die and the swirl die. I used Snow text to create some structure and snow-feel. The postmark stamps are from Kort og Godt.
The Pearls are from Melissa Frances.

I colored my cute little Magnolia with distress ink pads and markers. The snowflake stamps around the image are some older Magnolia stamps.

The cute little bells are Jingle bells in silver, i used an Ice skate charm
and some red Jute twine to tie them together.
I also added a little branch of Crystal Drops.

I decorated the inside of the card with the beautiful papers,
a spellbinder die and some white Pearls

If you need more inspiration (or just want some eye candy) you should stop by the LLC blog, to see the gorgeous creations of the rest of the DT and from our talented guest designers.

Thank you for stopping by my blog today! Thank you so much for your lovely comments, they do mean a lot to me!!!
